my hp tablet would not turn on right out of box and was charged overnight.  I called customer service and they advised me to turn around usb charger plug  and plug it back in. I advised them plug only went in one way and that was way I had plugged it in.  Customer service rep then advised me to do press both buttons 15 times as described in blog.  It still would turn on and she then advised me to find a friend who had a tablet and they would show me how to turn it on.  She also advised me there computer was down and that some one would contact me.  No one called me.  She also advised me that a repair order number and a satisfaction survey would be sent to my email address.  I  paused to wait her ask for my email address and finally i said would you like my email.  Two days have passed and no email.  I shipped the tablet back to the seller for an eschange.  I have worked in customer service and my wife works in tech support.  WE would never deal with a consumer in this matter.  HP clearly needs to improve its customer support if this any example of their customer support.  I was also very pleasant with her so you know.
